How we earn our Nanny Agency fee
Our consultation starts when you first reach out to us, this is when we share our knowledge and expertise and advise you on the best solution for your requirements. We will also go over market rates and expectations regarding duties to expect from your Nanny and your responsibilities as an Employer. With 25 years in Nanny recruitment we are experts in our field and can offer knowledgeable advice that you can trust.
Advertising and networking
Once we have a firm understanding of the vacancy profile we draft a job advertisement and share it on our website, Facebook pages, social media, specialist job sites and reach out to the staff already registered on our books. We also speak to our vast network of Nannies and Maternity Nurses.
On average we receive 50-100 applications per vacancy, so your specialist consultant will filter through applications, we are thorough in our selection process and will hand pick only the highest calibre, professional applicants that fully match your brief. We will also go through our existing pool of candidates already registered and vetted on our database.
Once we have a selection of applicants that match your brief, (On average 20) we will personally interview them to discuss your role and requirements to ensure they have the skills, personality match and commitment required. Each interview lasts on average 45 minutes to an hour.
From the applicants that have passed the interview stage, we will make our selection of 3-5 of the best applicants for the role.
Only suitable applicants will have their CVs submitted to you for perusal. When we introduce applicants we include a covering email outlining the Nannies attributes, core experience, qualifications, location, notice period and salary expectations. When possible, we also include copies of written references and a photo.
On average we make our placements based on the representation of 3-5 high calibre applicants. We fully manage all first and second interviews plus trial periods and provide feedback to both parties.
By this point your chosen applicant will be thoroughly vetted to include verbal reference checks, completed by your dedicated consultant and the checking of documents, plus verifying the applicants the right to work in the UK. We will ensure the Nanny holds an up to date enhanced DBS certificate and Paediatric first aid course or ensure these are updated. If you wish to also check the references yourself, we will gain the permission from previous employers and make the arrangements.
Negotiation and Offer.
Once you are at position to offer to a Nanny, we will negotiate salary and contract terms and provide a bespoke contract of employment provided by our HR department. We will also manage any amendments to contract and arrange for the contract of employment to be signed by both parties. We then ensure both parties have a signed copy for their records and safe keeping.
We fully appreciate how busy our clients are and will make sure the process is smooth and timely so you can concentrate on your work and family.
Payroll set up and support
If help and support is required for payroll support and set up, we can arrange this for you too.

We specialise in helping ‘time poor families’
As you can see the process is extremely time consuming and our fee justifies the time and effort we put into finding you the very best person for your family, a process that requires market knowledge, expertise and time.
Only when we have found you a Nanny/Housekeeper/Maternity Nurse that you are happy to employ will we charge a ‘one off’ finders fee:
A ‘one off fee’ calculated at 12-15% percent of the applicants annual gross salary.
£150 per week/part-week for the duration of employment.
Temp to perm
Should the nanny be retained permanently, the temporary fee is deducted from the permanent fee due.
Most of our clients come through recommendation and return to us. As a thank you we offer a 10% loyalty discount to returning clients.
We are not VAT registered.
Our payment terms are 7 days from Invoice, we accept BACS payments or cash.
We provide an 8 week guarantee period, in the rare even that things don’t work out, we will provide a free replacement. If you follow our proven process this is a rare occurrence, but we appreciate how important this is for your peace of mind.
