Our clients are working professionals and require a Live in Nanny to assist with their children, currently boys aged nearly 3 years and nearly 4 years and a baby due in mid-September.
Mum runs her own business and this will continue soon after the babies birth on a part time basis, but she will initially be around more for at least 6 months, Mum is keen to find an easy going and experienced Nanny that she can work in partnership with to share the children’s care. Experience caring for a young baby would be very helpful, but not essential if you are confident with babies and are keen to learn.
It is however essential that you have been a Nanny and have experience caring for multiple children, ideally of the boys age range, with some experience of baby care.
Both boys will hopefully be attending the same Preschool/School from September.
The nanny will need to be active and enthusiastic in her duties with a friendly and warm nature. The parents are happy for the nanny to socialise with the children locally and they will support you in making connections in the area if needed. There are lots of nannies in the area plus local play groups, child focussed activities and excellent parks. The children will also need to attend after school activities and play dates.
This role will evolve to a sole charge position in approximately 6 months once the baby is in a routine and everyone has settled. On that note, is it important that applicants are comfortable with the prospect of sole charge of 3 children in the near future.
The parents are laid back and Mum is keen to find a Nanny that can work as her ‘team mate’ sharing the children’s care, sometime having care of the baby and sometimes care of the boys. You will not be left in sole charge of all 3 children until Mum is confident that you are able to do so.
This role would suit a confident and experienced Nanny that is willing to initially work in shared care OR a more junior nanny that has confidence that can learn the ropes alongside mum and then become a sole charge nanny when confident to do so. Either way, some professional experience as a Nanny is essential for this role.
Nursery duties required, to include assistance with keeping the main areas tidy and organised, plus cooking simple meals for the boys and in time, the babies weaning meals.
Applicants will need to be tidy, well presented and hygienic in their duties.
The family employ a cleaner twice a week.
A driver is essential for this role.
To start the beginning of September.
Please only apply if seeking a long term commitment.
Nannies weekends are free so you are able to travel or visit friends and family.
Allergiy suffers: The family have 2 cats.
